TICK TACK
TICK TACK is an internationally renowned destination for contemporary art in Antwerp. TT produces, presents, and promotes exhibitions and video art screenings, complemented by limited edition publications and off-site projects.
Housed in the brutalist monument ‘De Zonnewijzer’ (The Sundial), a 1955 key work by architect Léon Stynen, TICK TACK occupies a historic duplex at a vivid city intersection, facing the tram stop and landscape park 'De Harmonie'. The 6-meter-high window functions as an interface between artists and audience, and between private and public space.
TACK TICK
TACK TICK is TICK TACK's counterpart in Mechelen: the same organisation and the same people, with a distinct name, focus, and institutional model.
Housed in the former Salle de Ventes par Notaires (1882), a monumental neoclassical auction hall on Huidevettersstraat, TACK TICK recently opened in September 2026 as coproducer of Contour Biennale 11, together with Kunsthal Mechelen.

- Providing reception and assistance to visitors in Antwerp and Mechelen
- Support in managing our website and online shop
- Handling archives and database management
- Conducting research and gathering information
- Assisting in content development
- Providing all-around support for various productions and presentations
- Assisting in projects beyond the walls of TICK TACK / TACK TICK
Profiel
- Background in visual arts, cultural management, curatorial studies, or equivalent experience.
- Soft skills: hands-on, proactive, flexible, detail-oriented, discreet, and socially adept.
- Proficiency in common software applications.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Driver's license (B) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, AI, and video-editing software is a plus.
Aanbod
You'll work between 2 and 5 days a week, depending on availability and season. This will take place within a renowned, internationally oriented art organization, where you'll interact with various players in the art world. You'll gain a deep understanding of all facets of the business, all within a tight-knit, familial atmosphere. Additionally, you'll receive expense reimbursement and other benefits in kind.
