[NL] KRAAK ondersteunt off-stream muziek. Hiertoe zet KRAAK concerten op, brengt het platen uit en publiceert het een free form magazine. Off-stream muziek opereert in de marge en vernieuwt mainstream muziek en de conventionele presentatie-, productie- en verspreidingsmodellen. Het kan om elektronica gaan, improvisatie, nieuwe popmuziek, avant-garde, vocal poetry of noise, maar even vaak om genres die nog benoemd moeten worden. KRAAK maakt hierin scherpe keuzes, op zoek naar kwaliteit, originaliteit en authenticiteit. --- [EN] KRAAK supports off-stream music by organising concerts, releasing records and publishing a free form Magazine (the avant-guardian). Off-stream music operates in the margins of music and rethinks mainstream music and its presentation, production and distribution models. Off-stream music covers a wide array of genres, styles and practices: it can be electronic music, improvisation, new pop music, avant-garde, vocal poetry or noise, or it can be music that has yet to be named. KRAAK has a clear vision, in search of quality, originality and authenticity.

[NL] KRAAK zoekt een sterke teamspeler (M/V/X) die off-stream muziek ademt, met een vlotte pen en de wil tot het ondersteunen en uitdragen van avontuurlijke muziek naar een breed publiek. Als artistiek medewerker sta je in voor de invulling van het programma en de toekomstvisie van KRAAK. In nauw overleg met de algemeen coördinator beslis je met welke artiesten en partners in het veld je zult samenwerken. Cruciaal hierin is een doorgedreven prospectie en ondersteuning in de realisatie van de concerten en platen. Als communicatie- en persverantwoordelijke draag je KRAAK en haar muzikanten uit. Hiertoe bedenk en realiseer je een frisse en sprankelende communicatie. Je bedenkt en voert de promotiecampagnes rond de concerten, festivals, nieuwe releases en activiteiten van artiesten, zowel via gedrukte als digitale kanalen. As the artistic assistant you are responsible for realising the musical program and defining the mission of KRAAK. You will decide about the artists KRAAK will present and about the partners to collaborate with in the concert series in close collaboration with the general co-ordinator. In-depth and thorough prospection, and full support of the realisation of the concerts and the records is an absolute priority. As press and communication manager you will promote KRAAK, its program and its artists. By establishing a fresh and vivid communication. You will take care of the lay out and realise both online and printed promotion for the concert series, the records and the festivals. What you will do: - content-based and artistic support of the general coördinator - formulate and promote the mission of KRAAK - in-depth prospection - realise the communication and promotion - Sustain and extend contact with press - manage the website - coordinate promotional material - extend the (inter)national network of artists and partners - follow up application forms and reports for the Flemish Government - productional support on the concerts
