Responsibilities:

  • Management of projects and tasks related to ongoing evaluation of visitor experience and learning materials developed by the Learning and Outreach Team;
  • Organize informal learning programs in various formats (on-site/online / hybrid);
  • Facilitating activities during certain learning programs for main target groups and general public;
  • Carrying out walk-throughs or guided visits to external service providers when necessary;
  • Give input, develop and adapt the existing (in)formal learning resources for use in different digital and onsite formats;
  • Further develop community-building initiatives and implementation of the audience development plan in liaison with the Head of Learning and Outreach;
  • Contributing to widening outreach via new and existing multipliers to further promote the learning offers and visibility of the museum;
  • Administrative tasks related to the job function.

Profiel

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in project coordination within museum and/or educational institutions;
  • Ability to work in English, additional languages as an asset;
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills so as to give clear instructions;
  • Exceptional skills in providing customer service;
  • Experience in delivery of online program and events with different organizational aspects working across departments and multiple stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in an international environment and multidisciplinary context;
  • Willingness to experiment with new ways of engaging audiences onsite and digitally;
  • Willingness to experiment with guiding approaches that use new technology and other innovative methods.
