Mara Moja Sessions is a music-events project founded and run by singer-songwriter Sara Della Santa.
Since 2019 Mara Moja Sessions organised several events, including a monthly only-music open mic and two editions of Mara Moja Festival, a world music festival that took place in 2021 and 2022 at Zomerfabriek.
Since this year Sara is supported by a team of musicians and friends: Laura Sierens (IG stories, support open mic), Hannah Baudouin (design logo and posters), and singer-songwriters Jolan "IJsbrand" Standaert and Bram "Rubus" Van Hecke (sound, recording).
Lots of new projects and ideas around the music world are cooking...
Functieomschrijving
We are looking for a photographer and/or a videomaker to join our team and take memorable shots at our events.
Your tasks will consist of:
- taking pictures during the open mics (both of the booked acts and the open mic'ers)
- recording a video (with sound) of one song for each booked act (3 songs in total)
- recording shots of the evening for a 1-minute after movie of the open mic
- providing a selection of edited pictures of the evening within 1 week
- providing the edited after movie and the booked acts video's within 2-3 weeks

You are likely a photography and/or videomaking student or an amateur that wants to build experience in concert, live, portrait photography and videomaking.
You are ready to keep your agenda free on the following dates:
15 December - 26 January - 2 March - 30 March - 27 April - 25 May - 22 June

Aanbod
Unfortunately we can't offer any compensation at the moment. This will be on a volunteer basis.
What we can offer: some free drinks during the events and eventually a meal.
