deSingel unites Music, Dance, Theatre and Architecture in one modern, international and critically acclaimed space. For the newest work of Austrian choreographer Florentina Holzinger we are looking for artists who are willing to rehearse abroad, tour in Europe and preform at deSingel.

CALL FOR ATHLETES (female identifying)
The Austrian choreographer Florentina Holzinger is looking for athletes and para-athletes of all ages and colour for hurdles and pole vault for a new creation to be premiered in August 2021 in Germany.
Ideally we are looking for athletes who can also train the performers in one of the disciplines. But this is optional.
The rehearsal process is planned for in total 10-12 weeks in Germany (Berlin, Kassel and Duisburg), starting end of April/ beginning of May 2021 and will have a high peak in Summer 2021 with rehearsals in June, July and until mid of August 2021.
Premier will be 20th August 2021 with an international tour until mid of 2022.
Profiel
We are looking for:
> Athletes and para-athletes of all ages and colour for hurdles and pole vault
> Applicants should have interest in arts, theatre and dance and be open to artistic practice since they will be working closely with dancers and performers on stage.
> Nudity might be a topic of the production but not a must. In any way applicants should feel comfortable within their bodies.
