We need an enthusiastic and creatively minded translation assistant to help us with the multi-lingual staging of an immersive game experience for schools and game festivals. The scripts and communications have been written in English, but we need to translate them into Dutch. This we are doing automatically via translation software, but we need a proofreader to check them over, help to support the translation of the creative vision of the project, and to support the team with English-Dutch issues in general.
The job would suit someone who is hoping to move into a career in translation, game design, research, theatre, publishing, digital media or event management, and is looking to build their resume with experience.
The Bookspine Witch , an immersive multimedia game experience for schools and museums. The storyline of a cyberwitch seeking to control the world through stories will motivate the children to use their own story craft and media knowledge as a weapon against her, building their critical media literacy.
The immersive experience will blend digital interactive narratives, Augmented Reality, live-streamed performance and AI.
Genre:
Cyberpunk, solarpunk, science fiction - think Blade Runner mixed with the Matrix with a dark fairytale feel.
