Ultima Vez is het dynamische huis voor hedendaagse dans in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek (Brussel) opgericht door choreograaf Wim Vandekeybus. Een plek waar productie en distributie in optimale omstandigheden plaatsvinden en waar makers hun artistieke praktijken met elkaar en met een breed publiek delen. Het werk omvat de artistieke creaties van Wim Vandekeybus, het kader rond nieuwe makers (Ulti'Mates) en onze participatieve activiteiten.
Functieomschrijving
What we’re looking for:
We are in search of a freelance designer or design company to develop and maintain a cohesive visual
identity for Ultima Vez across various platforms. The ideal candidate should have a curious interest in
contemporary arts and be keen to work in a flexible, collaborative manner.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine our house style to ensure consistency and creativity across all materials.
- Design dossiers for all our shows, capturing the essence of each production.
- Create engaging social media templates to enhance our online presence.
- Produce visually appealing text templates for video trailers and other multimedia content.
- Collaborate closely with our team to understand and translate our artistic vision into compelling
visuals.
Profiel
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in graphic design, preferably with a portfolio that includes work related to the
arts or contemporary dance.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to convey complex ideas through design.
- Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the dynamic nature of our work.
