FUNCTION:
You will work closely with a team comprising an artistic director, author and director, two dramaturgs, a production manager, an administration&finance manager, a sales&project development manager and a technical manager.
Since February 2023, the team has been training in transversal management tools. You will therefore need to be in tune with these principles of collaboration.
You will be working with the team on the company's next two projects, LA FÊTE and TREMBLEMENTS.
You will assist the dramaturgy team in
- Development and dramaturgy of projects in their various phases of creation,
in close collaboration with the artistic team (conceptualization, discussions and
and reflections)
- Attendance at artistic development meetings
- Taking part in meetings
- Follow-up and drafting of minutes
- Documentary research
- Suggesting readings and documents for the development of the project
- Readings and reports on readings
- Helping to set up meetings
- Support during interviews
- Transcribing and editing.
- Specific research

- Attendance at preparatory meetings
- Preparing schedules and work plans, in collaboration with the artistic and technical team
- Monitoring rehearsals and workshops
- Transcripts, discussions and feedback with the director, etc.
- Coordination of the artistic team
- Sending schedules

- Attendance on tour
- Management of connections
- Follow-up of performances and feedback to teams

PROFILE
- Experience and/or training in directing and/or dramaturgy
- Knowledge of English desirable. As LA FÊTE is a bilingual project (Dutch-French), knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- An interest in the company's work.
- An interest in decolonial themes.
- Have a philosophical and artistic knowledge and frame of reference.
- Experience of working on large stages.
- Have a sense of teamwork, rigor, availability and flexibility (travel is expected).
- Proficiency in office software is appreciated. (Office pack: Word/Excel)
- Be based in Belgium (or able to live there)

- Hours to be defined according to work periods (based on 2 days/week, excluding workshops and creation periods)

- Workplace: Das Fräulein (Kompanie) is in administrative residence at BOCAL,
- Rue Van Eyck 11B / 1050 Brussels. Rehearsals in Belgium at various venues.
- Evening and occasional weekend work.
- National and international travel required.
