Tools and communication advice for your municipality or region

The participation figures are clear: most of your free time is literally spent around the corner. Leisure has its own ‘zone 30’. Therefore, we set up the UiT network in 2008: a network of regions, cities and municipalities, who commit themselves to putting together a well-thought out leisure policy and to involving their residents actively in the local leisure activities (sports, youth and cultural activities).

Meanwhile, more than 80% of all Flemish cities and municipalities are members of the UiT network. All these UiT partners are using the same UiT logo in their communications about leisure activities. This enhances recognition within the audience, both locally and in the whole of Flanders. The source of the locally printed and online UiT event calendars is the UiT database. The activities in this database are distributed to hundreds of publication channels, including local UiT event calendars of municipalities, cities and regions.
