POPPOSITIONS
An annual assembly of galleries, artists' initiatives and project spaces in Brussels. Conceived as an experiment with the art fair format, POPPOSITIONS aims to occupy an independent and critical position. POPPOSITIONS was established in 2011 as a counterpoint to mainstream art fairs, and has grown into Brussels' leading alternative market for contemporary art. There are no white booths to be found here. Instead, POPPOSITIONS presents emerging talent in a site-specific context, occupying a different space each year.
Functieomschrijving
POPPOSITIONS look for two interns to support the fair manager and the rest of the team. The position is varied and flexible and allows for own initiative. Example of tasks would be: general organisation and planning of the fair, relations with participants, communication, production.
Profiel
You are dynamic, self-going and well-organised and have a passion for contemporary art; use of Indesign a plus; you speak fluent Dutch and English; you are able to work minimum 2 days a week for at least 4 months.
Aanbod
POPPOSITIONS is a non-profit volunteered run association and this is an unpaid internship. However, we offer a great experience in a internationally known structure that became a reference for critical and independent art fairs.
